1. Introduction
TapBoost ("we", "us", or "our") operates the TapBoost platform, which provides NFC-enabled smart stands and analytics dashboards that help businesses collect Google reviews. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website, services, and products.
By using TapBoost, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

4. Sharing Your Information & Service Providers
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with trusted service providers who assist us in operating the platform, provided they agree to keep your information confidential. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our legal rights. The service providers we currently rely on include:
- Stripe — processes payments and recurring subscription billing. Stripe receives your payment details, billing name, and transaction information. Stripe's handling of card data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Google OAuth / Google Sign-In — authenticates your identity when you choose to sign in with Google. We receive only the basic profile information described in Section 2.2.
- Google Maps Platform / Places API — powers address autocomplete and business lookup at checkout and in the dashboard. The address or place you select is sent to Google to return suggested matches and place details.
- Pirate Ship — used to purchase discounted shipping labels and generate tracking numbers when we ship your hardware. Pirate Ship receives the shipping name, address, and package details needed to create the label.
- Email delivery provider — sends transactional and account-related emails (order confirmations, shipping notifications, support replies). The delivery provider receives the recipient email address and message content necessary to deliver the email.
- Cloud hosting & infrastructure provider — hosts the TapBoost application, database, and files. Data is stored and processed on this provider's infrastructure to deliver the Services.
Each provider processes your information only as needed to perform its service for TapBoost and under its own privacy and security commitments. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
5. Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the TapBoost website. Cookies are small data files stored on your device. We use the following categories:
- Essential cookies: required to keep you signed in, remember your session, and enable core site functionality. These cannot be disabled if you wish to use the platform.
- Preference cookies: remember choices you make (such as theme or display preferences) so we can provide a more personalized experience.
- Analytics & measurement: we may use analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with the site — pages visited, traffic sources, device type, and approximate location. This information is aggregated and used to improve performance and usability.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may limit some features of the platform. We do not use cookies to sell your personal information to third parties.
6. Data Retention & Account Deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Analytics data related to customer interactions is retained to allow you to view historical trends.
You may request deletion of your account and personal information at any time by contacting TapBoost using the information in Section 11. We will process your request in accordance with applicable law. Please note that we may need to retain certain records (such as signed agreements, billing history, and tax/financial records) for as long as legally required or as necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, even after your account is closed. We will inform you if we cannot fully delete specific records for these reasons.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission, secure authentication, and restricted access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
9. Children's Privacy
